The DIG directed the sector and beat commanders to personally supervise the patrolling officers and conduct meetings with transporter associations regarding overcharging and
overloading. The coordination will also be made with the Regional Transport Authority secretary for proper enforcement of traffic laws.
The officers have been asked to adopt zero tolerance policy against
overloading to save the national asset in the form of national highways.
