Maina
an urban-type settlement in Beia Raion, Khakass Autonomous Oblast, Krasnoiarsk Krai, RSFSR, on the left bank of the Enisei. Railroad station 98 km south of Abakan; population, 13,700 (1970). It serves as the base for the Saian-Shushenskoe Hydroelectric Power Plant, whose construction was begun in 1976 and whose location is 25 km from the settlement.
Maina
an urban-type settlement in Maina Raion, Ul’ianovsk Oblast, RSFSR. Railroad station on the Ul’ianovsk-Ruzaevka line, 58 km southwest of Ul’ianovsk. It has a creamery, a lumber combine, and a leather-haberdashery factory.
