Dobrush
a city (since 1935), in Gomel’ Oblast, Byelorus-sian SSR, on the Iput’ River. Railroad station on the Gomer-Unecha line. Population, 17,000 (1970). Dobrush is the site of a pulp and paper mill, a factory for butter and dried milk production, and other food production enterprises. A cellulose factory has been under construction since 1972.
