Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Sinha. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Ekdalian (talk) 14:52, 5 June 2023 (UTC)
- Dear Ekdalian Sir, It is to be submitted that the edits I did to Sinha surname and family name is completely based on original research and verified reliable sources. It is also pertinent to mention that the aforesaid surname is used by Chitraguptavanshi Kayasthas (specially by Ambashthas. I have proof that this title is mostly and typically used by Kayasthas and Chitraguptavanshi Kayasthas. You can even confirm it from Google. I agree that I am a new editor on this platform and hence, it would be possible that I have made mistakes on editing but this editing was based on reliable sources. I know several people who have surname Sinha and are Chitraguptavanshi Kayasthas (typically Ambashthas) in Bihar, Jharkhand, and whole East India. There are several people on whom, articles are written on Wikipedia are having Sinha surname and most people belong to Kayastha (typically Ambashthas). Read Shatrughan Sinha, Jayant Sinha, Yashwant Sinha, Sachidanand Sinha, Yashvardhan Kumar Sinha, etc, my talk page and other web articles on Google. Even I am also Sinha surname and family name holder and I belong to Chitraguptavanshi Ambashtha Kayastha. It might be possible that you are right but by my researches, I am totally right. I researched from Google search engine. I also researched by talking to more than 21 people, they all belonged from Ambashtha subgroup. I also read blogs of several people on Google who have Sinha as their surname and family name, they all belonged from Chitraguptavanshi Kayastha (all were Ambashthas. This editing was done on original search and verified reliable sources. If you even don't believe and you think if I am lying, you can search on google and read several blogs on Google. Please rollback the article(s) to my edits after verifying. If you think that I am wrong again, you can come and contact me here again. Please cross-verify and come. My humble request to everyone, Please think and do research before you write anything on my Talk Page.
- Yours faithfully,

- Hello TheProEditor11, I completely understand what exactly you mean, but please note that such original research is simply against our policy; read WP:OR. The only proof you require (in order to add/modify statements in any of our articles) is reliable and verifiable sources, as per WP:RS & WP:V. And yes, as a new editor, you may not be aware of our policies, but I am sure you will learn from these experiences, and contribute here successfully! Thanks. Ekdalian (talk) 14:42, 6 June 2023 (UTC)
- Dear Ekdalian,
- I am a new Wikipedia editor but not a new Wikipedia reader and user. I started reading Wikipedia somewhere in 2020 and I am aware of most of the policies of Wikipedia but I was somehow both aware and unaware of this policy of Wikipedia that I have to add reliable sources for such edits. But the edit I did to both surname and family name Sinha is surely right. Please help me out because I am puzzled what can be a good reliable sources for this edit? Can I add someone's personal blog or another website because Wikipedia's policies say that we have to add sources from Google but blogs and other websites also come by searching on Google. I am sure that my edit is correct but I can't prove due to confusion. If you will tell me something(s) helpful about sources then it would be great. I would again request you gentleman that - only If you find my edits correct then please rollback it.
- Thanks! TheProEditor11 (talk) 15:28, 9 June 2023 (UTC)
- No, you are not supposed to use blogs or other websites in caste related articles! We need high quality modern texts by reliable authors. I shall also try to find such sources for your edit. You may check Google books using proper search keywords. Thanks. Ekdalian (talk) 07:25, 10 June 2023 (UTC)
- @Ekdalian Thank You for Your Help. Do try to find sources for my edits too as you have more experience in editing than me. I will also try to check Google Books and then add a proper and reliable source on my edit. I apologize for any inconvenience caused by me and on the other hand, I am very grateful for your help.
- Thanks! TheProEditor11 (talk) 07:54, 10 June 2023 (UTC)

Deletion discussion for Mac Taylor
editHi TheProEditor11. Following our discussion at the Teahouse. You want to make a contribution to a deletion discussion which is at the link: WP:Articles for deletion/Mac Taylor. The first thing to note is that this won't be a vote; it will be a place for editors to place their views in light of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The editor(s) with the best arguments for or against deletion will prevail when an experienced person (usually an admin) will decide what to do, based on the arguments made. As far as I can tell, the discussion will focus on whether Mac Taylor (a fictional character) is notable enough to have a stand-alone article, or information about him should instead solely reside in CSI: NY#Mac Taylor. The most relevant notability guideline is Wikipedia:Notability (fictional characters), which you should read carefully before you add your comment. If you want to add to the delete voices, you need not just to say that the currect article doesn't demonstrate notability from the sources it uses but also that you personally don't think that such sources exist to improve the article. If you want to argue to keep the article, you will either need to suggest further sources that together with the ones already in the article get it over the line to notability. Technically, to make your addition to the discussion you need to click on the "edit source" link just beside Mac Taylor's name and article link near the top of the deletion discussion. Then scroll to the very bottom and add your opinions, starting with either:
- Keep (then your reasons for keeping)
or
- Delete (then your reasons for deleting)
Note the use of three ' marks to create a bolded word to ensure it is easy for the person who closes the discussion to see your overall view. Make sure to sign your contribution with four ~ characters so it is will have your name and timestamp. Preview the page before save/publishing the changes, so you can check all looks OK before the save. If you have any doubts about what to do, then post them here and I'll help further. Good luck! - Keep Reverting Sir 🙏🏻. Keep reverting without seeing the facts. I just wrote the fact. If a person is assigned the role of both Brahmin and Kshatriya (according to Hindu mythology), that person is called Brahmakshatriya. This is the fact that you reverted without seeing the reason. If you think that I made a mistake, Keep my edit reverted but if you think that I am correct, then please take time and undo your edit. Please reply if you want to make me something understand more because I am very new here as compared with you. Sorry for any inconvenience and Thank you for contacting through this talk page :). - You need to cite reliable source for each and every statement here, hope you understand! Otherwise, even if you are right, someone will surely revert your edit since unsourced statements are considered here as original research (OR). I want you to contribute and that's the reason I explained! Thanks. Ekdalian (talk) 17:58, 18 October 2023 (UTC)

Please include some sources in the transport section. Also, it would be great to find some more reliable sources instead of just relying on the Ayodhya government website, since it's considered a primary source.

- @DreamRimmer: Thanks for letting me know! I tried hard to find but I could find only one reliable source for the transport section, which was the Ayodhya government website. - Hey! I can see that you're giving me "Level-2" warnings for edits on Gazetted Officer. You have reverted and rewrote the article. See, rewriting is not the issue. The issue is that you are removing almost every details from head to toe. You have literally even removed the terms "Gazetted appointment", "ordinary/extraordinary notifiations", departmental details, publisher, authority, etc LITERALLY EVERYTHING. Then, you are removing details about the military ranks which is literally cited by a Law (act) and an article from The Hindu. You are removing "cited" civilian public servant ranks. Don't you know you are removing the whole data like something about officers, pay commission clarification, 2016 renaming of ranks by the Government of India, clarification between Group A-Gazetted and Non-Gazetted and same thing from Group B too. An encyclopedia is made by cherishing each and every data and that too CITED. Please consider not reverting and undoing the whole article to your bogus edits for no reason and that too which is cited by reliable sources. Doing such things is not acceptable here. Also, please read about edit warring and reliable sources. You are most welcome to our Wikipedia Community for doing edits. We need enthusiastic editors like you! - You are edit warring for a lost cause. Wikipedia ia an encyclopedia, not a directory, guide, or manual. You treat Wikipedia as a directory for listing all gazetted posts, which fails WP:NOTDIRECTORY. Besides, that article itself is non-notable as it fails WP:GNG. Over that, you add large unsourced content with WP:FAKE references, which is unconstructuve. Legodesk.com is an unreliable source that fails WP:RS. Even if there had any reliable sources it still fails WP:NOTDIRECTORY. You also forgot that it is not a LIST--2409:4073:4E39:D390:41DE:C49B:4BBB:61A0 (talk) 07:49, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
- If it falls under non-notable article, nominate it for deletion. Okay?.. Please don't edit war here. And second thing second - only you are edit warring. You are removing almost all data from the article, making the whole article meaningless. You are even removing the titular things. Even you are not aware of the WP's. You have also removed many cited things from the article which is cited from ""official government website(s)"" and ""Laws (acts)"". Government websites are not unreliable source so you cannot remove them. You cannot blank out correct information. Please understand the policies. One revert and we are entering onto the three revert criteria and edit warring. Please take care!! TheProEditor11 (talk) 09:18, 30 June 2024 (UTC)

Notice of edit warring noticeboard discussion

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. I would like to point out that you have not followed our policies related to neutral point of view! In spite of some of the existing sources (in the article on Madan Mohan Malaviya) clearly saying that he was born in a (Gaur) Brahmin family, you have removed the same! As per NPOV, we must stick to the sources and mention both. You must be aware of the discretionary sanctions related to South Asian social groups, caste in this case. Please be careful in future. Ekdalian (talk) 08:49, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
- Well ah, @Ekdalian, I have tried to follow all of our policies to edit the page Madan Mohan Malaviya. Make sure that for my claim, I have already provided cited sources (infact 5 citations). Moreover, for your NPOV allegation, note that I am not inclined towards any caste either for proving their superiority or for making everyone belonging to the same caste. I have just a quite good knowledge of the specific Kayastha caste since it is my community. As you said he was born in the abovementioned Brahmin family, I preferred adding only one caste because my edits had already got removed once (obv by you) and now, you are the same person who is asking why didn't you mention both. Simply, I have provided reliable sources so I just added the caste as per my sources. I don't know why but it is very pathetic to surely get a ridiculous talk page warning no matter if you have provided citations/sources, you are right, or you are wrong too. If possible, I would highly request you to please withdraw this warning as it is making my talk page look dirty as hell to me for no reason :(. Anyways, I will be careful in future and I will "mention both" if such cases come. Thanks! ;) TheProEditor11 (talk) 12:21, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
- This is not a warning message; I just wanted to inform you how to follow our NPOV policy in future. It is not at all ridiculous; and please avoid mentioning that you have added Kayastha since you belong to the caste (conflict of interest)! We are here to act as neutral editors; we should rather forget our caste while editing here in order to be completely neutral. Hope you have realised now that this is not a warning message. You have shown interest in South Asian social groups. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose contentious topics restrictions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic. For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor. |

- Why the hell I am getting these types of warning alerts? I have not done any type of disruption in my edits to caste-related topics. Moreover, I have also cited my claims in the edits (I had provided 5 reliable citations including a book from University of California). I would request you to please do not add these types of template warnings specially when someone has provided citations. Furthermore, I would also request you to withdraw this warning, if possible! TheProEditor11 (talk) 11:47, 8 September 2024 (UTC)
- That was not a warning message. It's merely a reminder of contentious topic designation of south asian social groups topic area in which you have shown interest. Ratnahastin (talk) 16:51, 8 September 2024 (UTC)

Hello, I'm LaffyTaffer. I noticed that you changed the personal pronouns of an individual in the article Sam Morelos. Wikipedia refers to all people, including transgender and nonbinary people, by the pronouns they have most recently requested for themselves; this applies to all phases of their lives, unless they have requested otherwise. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Taffer😊💬(she/they) 18:47, 18 September 2025 (UTC)
- @LaffyTaffer Thank you for your message. Till now, no source has been provided in the article that the subject has requested to use and refer them as transgender/non-binary (they/them). If you have any source, then please don't hesitate to provide it on the article otherwise it will (probably) be reverted again, if not by me then by someone else. Thanks and I hope you understood.. :) ... TheProEditor11 (talk) 18:53, 18 September 2025 (UTC)
- The subject's pronouns are sourced in personal life to the following links: Taffer😊💬(she/they) 18:55, 18 September 2025 (UTC)
- Ok. Now, I feel free and happy since the sources have been added.. I have also verified the same and have also removed the warnings made by me on the talk page of the IP address.
- Thanks.- TheProEditor11 (talk) 19:00, 18 September 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you very much, please be sure to check for sourced claims in areas such as personal life in the future before reverting. Though I'll take responsibility myself for not fully updating pronouns and terminology when I did a check on the article a few days ago. Best regards. Taffer😊💬(she/they) 19:05, 18 September 2025 (UTC)
- Hahaha.. There was no edit summary by the IP address. Also, I tried checking on Google and there is really and absolutely no significant news coverage about the same. Also, the websites that are used as MAJOR sources refers the subject as "she". It made (and probably still makes) the doubts even more clearer. Since, the latest identification has actually been made by the subject, the edits by the IP are accepted as correct. TheProEditor11 (talk) 19:14, 18 September 2025 (UTC)

Stephen sharer
editHey, it’s not possible for Stephen to have been a freshman in college in 2010 having been born in 1998 as he falsely claims. Please revert your edit and see the cited source. He obscures his age purposefully for predatory purposes. ~2026-27578-87 (talk) 06:43, 7 May 2026 (UTC)
- Hey! Thank you for contacting me. First of all, you have NOT provided ANY sources for your edits. Moreover, you have just provided a huge edit summary 1. However, that edit summary contradicts your own edit as you said "Removed unsourced date of birth (March 1, 1998)" but you are yourself adding the DOB in question i.e. March 1, 1992 and prior to your edit, there was NO date of birth in the article because it has always been a part of controversy (from perusal of talk page of the article). There is no question that you are changing DOB, you are just adding a new one without any sources, please read WP:RS. Moreover, it is also pertinent to mention here that your edit summary further provides that you have made this edit relying on a Swimming Roster (by the way, you haven't even cited that too with your edits) and you further claim that it "INDIRECTLY" indicates that his DOB is somewhere in 1991/1992 (you are not specific even on this point). Please be assured that such kind of Original Research is simply against our policy, read WP:OR because everything you are adding is based on your own research. Please consider taking a look on Wikipedia policies and if you want to add the DOB, please do so with reliable sources. Also, if you have anything to discuss with fellow editors, consider doing so by adding a topic on the talk page of the article but refrain from adding unsourced original research based stuff. Regards ! :) TheProEditor11 (talk) 07:04, 7 May 2026 (UTC)

Lala Hanumant Sahay moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Lala Hanumant Sahay, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Dan arndt (talk) 05:38, 14 May 2026 (UTC)
- @Dan arndt Thanks for letting me know! I have nominated it for deletion since the draft article is just a duplicate (and uncited) version of main space article. With regards, TheProEditor11 (talk) 07:09, 14 May 2026 (UTC)

The article Lala Hanumant Sahay has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:ANYBIO, requires significant coverage in multiple independent secondary sources - lacks any inline citations
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion based on established criteria.
If the proposed deletion has already been carried out, you may request undeletion of the article at any time. Dan arndt (talk) 05:42, 14 May 2026 (UTC)
- Can you please wait?? I am working on citations right now! TheProEditor11 (talk) 05:44, 14 May 2026 (UTC)
- @Dan arndt Since it was a translation from Hindi Wikipedia to English Wikipedia, I was working on citations. I have added several WP:RS now and the article qualifies WP:RS and WP:BIO now. I will be adding few more RS too. I have removed the deletion template as the problems as stated by you has been resolved. TheProEditor11 (talk) 06:03, 14 May 2026 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for May 17
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Munsiff Court, a link pointing to the disambiguation page Indians was added. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

About Ctrip/Trip.com group
editHello,
I recently modified the Trip.com Wikipedia page, you were right to remove this edit as it wa sunexplained (I missclicked while typing the reason). I've published the reasons now and modified the framing, so instead of just removing the claim which was true, I've stated it was as of 2017. As of 2025, Expedia Group won the title of World's Leading Online Travel Agency 2025 by World Travel Awards, and Booking.com was the most visited individual website while generating much more revenue.
Other than that, good day to you. ~2026-29455-50 (talk) 08:40, 17 May 2026 (UTC)
- Hey! Always consider adding WP:RS with your claims otherwise it will be reverted again if not by me then by someone else. With regards, TheProEditor11 (talk) 15:28, 17 May 2026 (UTC)
Biting
editHi there. I figured it is more respectful to ~2026-30178-54 that I reply here, instead of continuing a discussion about Wikipedia policy on their Talk page.
As a matter of Wikipedia policy, you are 100% correct when you quote WP:V. This is why I only restored their edit with a proper source. When I suggested that it is important not to WP:BITE the newcomers, I was thinking of the part of that behavioral guideline which says:
Next time you feel frustrated with a newcomer’s mistake, take it as an opportunity to nurture potential contributors. Consider improving upon a newcomer's edit rather than reverting it.
Certainly, I am sympathetic that you are working through a lot of low-quality edits. I see that your user page has a userbox specifically about fighting vandalism, and your recent edits are a great service to Wikipedia! I just felt it was harsh to warn this particular user that "[their] edits appear to constitute vandalism", when they added true content to an article, in the correct place, and it only took me 10 seconds to add a source. Vandalism is described as such, in the article you linked on that user's Talk page:
On Wikipedia, vandalism has a very specific meaning: editing (or other behavior) deliberately intended to obstruct or defeat the project's purpose...
This user's edit to Lagos does not appear, to me, like the work of someone who is deliberately obstructing or defeating Wikipedia's purpose. NeuroJasper (talk) 07:39, 20 May 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you once again for your message! And yes, you did a great job by continuing the discussion here. I appreciate that you took my quoted WP:V part seriously and added the source for it. I give Wikipedia policies the utmost priority while working with edits and I am totally aware about the WP:BITE "behavioral guideline". However this case is clearly not a case of biting as:-
- The IP added a completely unsourced addition (nickname) to the article. I did NOT say that the edit was "Vandalism" in the edit summary, I used the word "Unsourced" instead (you can verify). Now the question is why I still gave the editor a "Level-2 Vandalism warning" (you are also trying to surround the whole case as to why I gave such "harsh" warning). The reason behind that is - that the edit they made to an other page few minutes ago - Lagos Island constituted vandalism and due to this, the IP was previously given "Level-1 Vandalism warning" by a fellow editor. So when you revert an edit and you are redirected to the Talk page of the user where you have to put on General Notice/Warning and you see that few minutes ago they were already warned by someone - it is safe to assume that the user is WP:NOTHERE and is trying to deliberately obstruct or defeat the project's purpose and give the next higher level warning. Moreover, as you quoted "next time you feel frustrated with a newcomer’s mistake......." - I want to make it very clear that I was not frustrated with the mistake, I just acted neutrally and ideally what a reasonable editor would do or try to do. Coming to the part "consider improving upon a newcomer's edit rather than reverting it.", I searched regarding it on web but the results I got were of unreliable sources like FaceBook (and FaceBook reels), YouTube, blogs etc. Last line you said forms your opinion that the edit does not "appear to you.....". There is a famous saying - "Opinions are like arseholes-everybody has one, and they all stink". I acted as per policies and guidelines and hence, I think that this is certainly not a case of Biting [as you are alleging].
- Last but not the least, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! for your humble wishes and appreciation to my edits.. It means a lot.. :) With regards, TheProEditor11 (talk) 09:01, 20 May 2026 (UTC)

Rollback granted
edit
Hi TheProEditor11. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:
- Being granted rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or Ultraviolet. It just adds a [rollback] button next to a page's latest live revision. It does not grant you any additional "status" on Wikipedia, nor does it change how Wikipedia policies apply to you.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear and unambiguous cases of vandalism only. Never use rollback to revert good faith edits. For more information about when rollback is appropriate, see Wikipedia:Rollback § When to use rollback.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war, and it should never be used in a content-related dispute to restore the page to your preferred revision. If rollback is abused or used for this purpose or any other inappropriate purpose, the permission will be revoked.
- Use common sense. If you're not sure about something, ask!
I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, and feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate use of rollback. If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin) and Wikipedia:Rollback. Good luck and thanks! * Pppery * it has begun... 17:28, 21 May 2026 (UTC)
- Hey! Thank you so much for granting me the perm. I have already started using it in my day-to-day counter-vandalism work and I can say that it has made my work much easier. Right now, I am using both rollback and Twinkle together. I am fully aware of the policies as you stated and I use it only when the vandalism/disruption is clear and unambiguous. Once again, thank you!!... With regards, TheProEditor11 (talk) 06:03, 22 May 2026 (UTC)
