An Opportunity, a Change, a Request, & an Amazing Upgrade

Hi There Emcritters:

For over a dozen years, I have been putting out Resucitation and Acute Critical Care education on the EMCrit podcast. And you have been the best audience in the imaginable universe. Together, we have reached a crossroads–the time has come for a change.

EMCrit has been FOAM (i.e. Free and Open Access) for the past 12 years and there is an immense value in this mode. I would not have changed anything about the decision to offer EMCrit for free for these past years, but I am at the point now where I want to do more, I want to offer more, and I want to make EMCrit a focus of rather than a sideline gig.

More Stuff, More Love, More EMCrit

EMCrit Podcasts & Wees

I want to do even more regular resus and acute critical care updates. Getting shows up has been a struggle, but with a team and time–it will be a breeze (well that is an exaggeration, but certainly less arduous 😄)

CME

We offer one hour of CME Credit (AMA Cat 1 or Nursing CEI) per EMCrit Podcast (~26 per year) with years of past episodes available including a ton of trauma and stroke CME.

RACC-Lit Updates

A monthly podcast on the latest Resuscitation and Acute Critical Care research and tips. 10-15 minutes of quick hits published once per month.

EMCrit Forum

A private spot to ask ?s, share cases, and chat with the other EMCritters. I am sick of knowing that the things I post online are owned by evil companies and searchable forever. The EMCrit forum offers a spot where your info is protected and barred from prying eyes.

What if I Don't Sign Up?

Blog posts stay FOAM–freely available for all! This includes EMCrit posts, PulmCrit, and the IBCC. In addition, I am committed to keeping FOAM offerings in the podcast feed, so please don't delete your podcast subscription. There will still be amazing stuff for you to enjoy, but if you are enjoying, please consider becoming a member.
