Sweet and sour like a tangerine
Fresh like a box of Krispy Kremes
Kenny Rogers' "Gambler" is my gambling theme

DVDPlanet.com was clearancing the Beastie Boys Video Anthology for $13.50, so I picked up a copy. Let me tell you, it's everything they make it out to be. It's absolutely unreal how thorough they were with the DVD, and how much customization there is.

It seems that when they shot each video they shot the entire video in each kind of footage that you see. "Intergalactic," for instance, has the scientists, the monster and the robot, the guys in the subway, the slow-mo rapping, the fast-mo rapping, etc. So you can pick any video mode you want to watch the video in, and then you can pick from the regular version of a song or one of the remixes, which also sync perfectly to the video. There are other extras like treatments for the videos and extra little video shoots that they did. Just crazy, goofy stuff.

The one thing I'm disappointed and confused about is the fact that hardly any of the videos from "License to Ill" seem to be here. The most apparent being "Fight for Your Right." How the hell could they leave that video out of a Video Anthology? But, while that's unfortunate, the rest more than makes up for it. It's such a huge 2-disc set, it's more than worth it even at the regular price. Check it out.
