Just wanted to share

If you live in the New York area go to Entertainment Outlet, which is located on 40th st. between 5th and 6th. They have amazing prices for all their DVDs, at least 4 to 5 dollars cheaper than the retail price. I just got Mulholland Drive for $22.99 there. And they sell the DVDs about a WEEK before the release date for all their titles. From experience I found out that they don''t give out the information over the phone if a title is released earlier. You just stop by about a week before the actual release date and it will be there. I also got the Twin Peaks box set for $35.99 there. I don't shop anywhere else now.

More sites

From a previous response: DVD price comparison can be done at http://www.dvdpricesearch.com/

If anyone's interested, there's also a price comparison site for multi-region DVDs (I'm originally from the UK and now in the US, so multi-region is very important to me!). It can be found at: http://www.dvdpricecheck.co.uk/

And on multi-region vibes, there are obviously region comparison sites. The one I used most is http://www.dvdcompare.org.uk

Aaaaaaand, if anyone's really really interested, the site I review for is http://www.dvdtimes.co.uk - forums there have lots of useful tidbits in them and loads of users so always fun to read.

And on the topic of reviews, to search for reviews of discs, there's a search engine at: http://www.dvd-basen.dk/ (you can search by region or globally)

Hope these help. Maybe everyone can submit useful sites here, so we can all see what one another use.
