Challenge A and D

It's just after seven P.M. as Tommy's plane lands in Nairobi.  Dr. Mercer granted him the dig in Kenya, in order to complete his doctoral thesis.

This certainly wasn't L.A.X.--all around him was the chattering of foreign tongues and unfamiliar faces.

His contact was here, somewhere in the sea of strangers.

Then, she appeared, braids wrapped in a bright yellow scarf, holding a homemade placard with the picture of a white tiger.

Tommy crossed the human ocean and they embraced like lost siblings.

"Hey, handsome!" the young woman laughed with tremendous joy.

"Hi Aisha!  It's been way too long!"
