Parse.ly Sage FAQs

Can I use Parse.ly Sage in languages other than English?

Yes. Parse.ly Sage supports all languages. However, English is the only language that has been thoroughly tested, so responses in other languages may vary in accuracy and reliability.

What’s the model behind Parse.ly Sage?

Parse.ly currently uses OpenAI under an enterprise license. This model powers Parse.ly Sage’s natural-language understanding and generation, ensuring accurate responses.

How secure is my data?

Extremely secure. Parse.ly has built infrastructure protections to prevent unauthorized access and mitigate cyberattacks. For a full overview, refer to the WordPress VIP security policy documentation.

Will Parse.ly use my data to train the model?

No. Parse.ly never incorporates customer data into training datasets. Parse.ly’s contract with OpenAI explicitly prohibits using customer inputs or analytics data to train or fine-tune their models. For further details, see OpenAI’s Enterprise Privacy page.

How does Parse.ly integrate with OpenAI?

When you ask a question in Parse.ly Sage, Parse.ly packages your query into a data request sent to the enterprise OpenAI API. OpenAI responds with a text-based answer, and Parse.ly then displays that answer in the chat interface, along with a link to the relevant Parse.ly Dashboard tab.

Can user access to Parse.ly Sage be restricted?

Yes. You can grant or revoke this permission via Parse.ly’s User Management page.
