Happy 24th Birthday, Paris Hilton!
I feel like I haven't updated this journal in forever- because, surprise surprise, I haven't. Though I have been checking my friends page constantly and am insanely jealous of Hayley,
readallthepages's really cute Valentine's Day desktops. It kind of makes me wish I had a cute little Mac too.
I hope all my east-coasters are having a nice wintery winter. I remember when I was a little girl I used to pray to the Gods of Snow that we'd be hit with a big fat blizzard so school would get cancelled and my friends and I could go sleighride on the golf course. And then I remember in middle school, when Mr. Mobilio (hahaha) would go on the intercom and tell everyone that at lunch time, we were all to pack into the school buses and go home. Ugh. I miss snow. I really do.
I feel like I've been hibernating. For the past few months, I've just been hanging out at home in my sweatpants eating McDonalds. I'm such a fatty. (My new obsession? Chicken McNuggets with barbeque sauce. And Rooney. I've been really into listening to Rooney.)
I got fired from my job last November, hired by the Vista Community Clinic, let go by them because of scheduling conflicts, and so now I'm just doing the full-time college student thing. 14 credits. Cinema, Radio & Television, Speech, and Algebra. I'm thinking of dropping into the YMCA sometime this week to apply to become a camp counselor for the summer. I missed the opportunity last year. Either that or I'll be interning for 944 Magazine down in San Diego. (It's unpaid, so.. I don't know.)
So now I must let you all in on my current obsessions, because if you know me like most of you do, you know my favorite change all the time:
Bands: Rooney, Jason Mraz, N.E.R.D, Usher, Maroon 5 (Mmm, Adam Levine. And I know someone's going to make a rude comment about how much M5 sucks, but.. ew. Ew to all of you.)
People: Paris Hilton, Margaret Cho, Bijou Phillips, Lindsay Lohan- basically if you're a slutty female celebrity, I love you with no end. I love tabloid fixtures. Ugh.
Books: Bergdorf Blondes- Plum Sykes, US Weekly, Star, The Enquirer, People. (Ungh. Tabloid magazines are my life.)
I think that's all I need to talk about. Or feel the need to at least. But I think I might update this journal more often. Perhaps.
