โ 1000 LeetCode Questions โ Done!
Just hit a huge milestone:
Hello I'm Yash Fadadu, Iโve completed 1000 questions on LeetCode โ๏ธ
And no โ Iโm not at Google. Not yet at Microsoft either.
But thatโs not what this post is about.
โจ Was it worth it?
Short answer: Yes. But not for the reasons you might think.
โ Did I become a DSA expert? โ Not yet
๐ผ Got an offer from FAANG? โ No
๐ง Learned something deeper? โ 100%
๐ก What I Actually Learned
Solving LeetCode isnโt about flexing IQ.
Itโs about consistency, discipline, and learning to think like a developer.
- You can study all the patterns and still get stuck. Thatโs normal.
- You wonโt love every part of it โ but thatโs the point.
- It teaches you to show up even when itโs tough.
- Itโs about building mental endurance as much as technical skill.
I often felt like ditching LeetCode to focus on building real-world things โ AI tools, beautiful UIs, full-stack apps.
But this journey reminded me:
๐ โYou grow most when you donโt feel like it.โ
๐ Tips If You're Just Starting
Hereโs what helped me โ and might help you:
- ๐ Master the basics: Arrays, Strings, Linked Lists, Trees
- ๐ฏ Learn core patterns: Two Pointers, Sliding Window, Binary Search, Recursion
- ๐ค Start with easy problems โ they build confidence
- โฑ๏ธ Stuck for more than an hour? Read the solution
- ๐ง Study a topic before attempting questions on it
- ๐ Make it a daily habit, not a sprint
- ๐ Get good at time & space complexity โ itโll make your intuition stronger
โ Real Benefits Iโve Seen
- ๐งฉ Understanding DSA helped me in blockchain, AI/ML, game dev, and full-stack work.
- ๐ก I write cleaner, more optimized code.
- ๐ Most of all, it changed my mindset: I now look at problems with more clarity and confidence.
