Hey DevOps & Cloud learners!
This week, I’m going back to basics:no automation, no heavy tools, just hands-on cloud practice with AWS. If you’re also starting out, this might help you too..
My Cloud Plan for the Week (Simple & Practical):
Day 1 – Launch an EC2 instance from AWS Console
Day 2 – SSH into the instance & explore the Linux environment
Day 3 – Install NGINX & serve a custom HTML page
Day 4 – Create an S3 bucket & upload files
Day 5 – Use AWS CLI to manage EC2 & S3 from the terminal
🧰 Tools I'm Using:
- AWS Free Tier
- Linux Terminal & SSH
- AWS Console
- AWS CLI
- NGINX
Why I’m Doing This:
Before diving into IaC, CI/CD, and Kubernetes, I want to understand the foundation. Cloud concepts make a lot more sense when you see them in action manually.
