Something cool happened today - people are actually joining the Discord server to do daily coding tasks together. There's something motivating about having others grinding alongside you, even if it's virtual.
Today's Wins
- Completed my DSA milestone (feels good to check that box)
- Got approached with a startup idea (spoiler: had to pass)
- Joined my friend's project instead
- Had some important realizations about entrepreneurship
The Startup Reality Check
Got pitched an idea today that the person thought was revolutionary. Problem is, it's been done countless times already. It's wild how often this happens - you think you've struck gold when you've actually found something that's been mined out for years.
Instead of dwelling on it, I decided to jump in on my friend's startup idea, which actually has some interesting angles to it.
The Humbling Moment
Been sitting on this "big idea" for a while, thinking it could be my ticket to entrepreneurship. Today I realized it's more like a 10-year vision than something I can execute now. Sometimes you need that reality check to refocus on what's actually achievable.
Best Insight of the Day
Someone dropped this gem: "Post a glimpse of your idea and check if people are ready to pay for it, to know if it's good enough in public's eyes even before launching it."
This is brilliant in its simplicity. Why spend months building something when you can validate demand in a few days? It's all about testing the waters before diving in.
What's Next
Tomorrow I'm shifting focus to ML. The coding journey continues, and honestly, having a small community makes it way more engaging.
What's your approach to idea validation? Do you test demand before building, or do you prefer to build first and see what happens?
Join our daily coding community on Discord(https://discord.gg/DAjtMDb4) if you want to code together!
