This is a submission for Frontend Challenge - June Celebrations, Perfect Landing: June Celebrations
What I Built
I created an impactful landing page for World Blood Donor Day (June 14) that motivates visitors to become blood donors through compelling statistics, donor stories, and clear action steps.
The page features eligibility information, donation process explanations, local blood center locators, and powerful visualizations showing how blood donation saves lives.
It transforms the often clinical topic of blood donation into an inspiring call to heroism.

Journey
Developing this landing page meant finding the right balance between urgency and approachability.
Blood donation can seem intimidating to first-time donors, so I focused on creating a welcoming, informative experience that addresses common concerns while highlighting the incredible impact of donation.
The technical challenge was creating dynamic visualizations that make blood donation statistics meaningful and memorable. I used animated counters, progress bars, and interactive elements to transform numbers into compelling stories about lives saved.
I'm particularly excited about the donor eligibility checker and the local blood center integration features.
These practical tools remove barriers between intention and action, making it easier for motivated visitors to take the next step.
The responsive design ensures the page works seamlessly across all devices, which is crucial since many people research blood donation on mobile devices. Accessibility was a key consideration, with clear navigation, readable fonts, and screen reader compatibility.
Future improvements could include appointment scheduling integration, donor rewards tracking, and social sharing features to help donors recruit friends and family.
Every blood donation can save up to three lives, and this landing page aims to multiply that impact by inspiring more people to become regular donors.
