Real goth scene in Michigan? (x-posted)
I don't mean industrial/ebm/futurepop, but actual goth/deathrock/batcave scene? If you notice, how many deathrock clubs or nights are there in Michigan? Or how many times do you hear Sex Gang Children or Theatre of Hate out here? My name is Justin, I am a Deathrock/Batcave/Punk/Trad-Goth/Horrorp
I basically am trying to ask, as a GOTH DJ, who else feels there is no real goth scene in Michigan. Sure, we have a kick ass EBM and synthpop scene....but who doesn't? We need some good REAL goth nights. As well as some punk, psychobilly, and darkwave thrown in! NOT an EBM club with some (over played) goth thrown in.
