There’s...something wrong. Or is this normal here?
[the Sleeper behind the camera sounds out of breath, as though they’ve been running or fighting. He angles the device awkwardly to show a frostbitten patch of skin on his forearm, the injury shaped roughly like a handprint, gripping the limb tightly.]
These aren’t normal undead. Their touch can’t be cured by healing magic. And they don’t seem to care about fire either...
[Med’an moves the camera from his arm to his face. He’s clearly stressed and flustered, but he’s doing his best to keep calm.]
Is...is there a church or temple in this town? I know it won’t be to any gods I know, or anything, but - any holy place should work. There’s something I have to check.

There's a church. It's on Neibolt Street. I don't know how holy it is, but sometimes it's like... a sanctuary from shit going on here.

I can try to find Neibolt Street. I haven't really gotten the lay of the land yet...[he's clearly fiddling with some buttons on the Fluid, but fortunately he doesn't accidentally close the feed.] Who is it to?
no subject
[It's super fun. It's the best time.]
It's right at the top of town, not far from the Hart Mart. And it's helped me before. It's a place where you can find a little peace when the town is literally trying to tear your mind apart.

In my world, most of the undead are...from the Plague, I guess, but it's still...based in magic. It's a magical plague. [He doesn't realize how that might sound a bit absurd, but it's a well-known fact on Azeroth. While he's trying to wrap his head around it, he'll at least make his way towards the top of town.]
Near the Hart Mart. Thank you.

[Or at least, people assumed that. No one has ever had any solid proof one way or the other- but the lack of any other magic kind of solidified it for Louis.]
Don't mention it. Name's Louis, by the way.

I’m Med’an. It’s nice to meet you...except for the undead stuff.
What is your world called?
no subject
Likewise. There's a few of us here, with the...undead stuff. A few different worlds, so you're not alone there.
Earth. Or... an Earth, I guess. There seems to be multiple versions of it which is weird.

[ Mako is not outside. Mako, who is sick and feverish, much to his own annoyance, has focused on getting a perimeter set up around his home.
He doesn't like the look of this at all, though. ]
I don't know about holy places but if you need someplace safe, get to the library.
no subject
[...Ok look he knows this isn't the most important thing right now but - ]
Is it a nice library?
no subject
Then he frowns, his brows drawing together under the hat shoved down over his hair. ]
It's. Fine? It has. You know, books. That you can check out. It was a safe location during October, if you heard anything about that.
[ Very descriptive, Mako, 10/10. Description is admittedly not his strong suit. ]
If you're looking to meditate or something, head to the sinkhole on Mount Rheum. There's this stone circle. Supposed to be spiritual.

A stone circle? [Maybe not a place where the Light would really manifest, but Med’an also knows a bit about nature spirits. He’ll take any spirits he can get right now.] I’ll check that out, too. Thank you.
I assume Mount Rheum is the big one down south.
no subject
[ Not that Mako is terribly good at meditating. He tried to learn, but his teacher disappeared before he got far.
At least Mako's helping, somehow, although he isn't entirely sure what the stone circle will do for a wound like that. ]
If you need to get that arm looked at, don't go to the hospital, either. Another Sleeper would be your best bet.
Why do you want a place like that?

[So says the demonic-looking man on the screen. Frankly, he's not had too much problem with the undead, even with the difficulties there are of killing them, but that's mostly because Maul has dealt with far harder things to kill in his life.]
no subject
I'm...a paladin. In training. I can do more than just prayer. [Theoretically.]
The Light is here, it's just...I just need a place to talk to it.
no subject
[Sounds like something a Jedi would say but this one is no Jedi Knight. Maul would have been able to sense such a disturbance in the Force but there hadn't been any since Obi-Wan had arrived two months ago.
Still, the phrasing is interesting. He wonders if there is a similarity to the spiritual energy he himself uses in the Dark Side.]
What do you sense in it?
no subject
It’s...it’s still here, where it normally is. It just feels like it...got stopped up. All I need to do is...unclog it.
[...that makes it sound pretty gross, doesn’t it.]
Do you feel it, too?
no subject
I can sense it but I do not follow the Light. I am of the Dark.
[While one normally shouldn't judge based on appearances, in Maul's case, it was right on the nose to make the assumptions one did when faced with someone who had a demonic-looking face.]
