In 1997, Grant Morrison expands the roster on JLA (Volume 1) with Zauriel, Tomorrow Woman and a new Hourman. Later in the year (cover dated 1998), Mark Waid and Brian Augustyn provide the team with a new origin in JLA: Year One (Volume 1), removing the Trinity as founding members.
