Update and Apology


I would like to ask you guys for forgiveness.

Around late August/Mid September, I released Heavy Hearts 0.6.6 Tech. I updated Subscribestar and Patreon, but failed to update itchio. I think I did this due to the censorship -- My data showed near zero traffic to the page. Nonetheless, there are many people who bought the title and use itchio to download the latest. 

So, this if for you. its a tech update, and it contains no new content. Just alot of bug fixes and additional features. 

Changelog:

0.6.6Tech

--Updated Gallery to include additional content

--Made Controller ques and compatibility better

--Upgrades are now changed.

Player starts with Lv1 Magic and Lv1 Heavy.

Upgrades will cost 5 stars until the game it completed, then it will cost 8

MAG2 Can be acquired at the Order of the Aether.

MAG3 Can be obtained in the Dark order in the 2nd Continent.

HEAVY2 can be acquired at the Colonia Approach.

HEAVY3 can be acquired at the Order of the Berserker.

5x Base Attack can still be obtained in the Deep Cave

There will be a charge level implemented that will speed up charging magic, heavy, and lengthen Elemental length.

--Upgraded Luccia X Alexander scene to remove the "Dead Eyes" and replaced them with dynamic facial expressions.

--Added I-Frames to Luccia's cancel attack.

--Modified the big bloodcryst image

--Added some extra dialogue to the Gobnid quest

--Journal now says something during the tutorial.

--Fixed an issue where the slime could wreck the game during Scab's H scene.

--Feral Cats mission didn't display properly in the Journal.

--Adjusted game for steam compatibility

--Fixed an issue where Bust BG's stayed when skipping a scene

--Added arrows to the world maps for people that somehow miss that there is a 2nd continent.

--Tile anomalies in certain maps fixed

--Controller Queues on the main menu messes up text when changed no longer

--Misspelled "Underwear" during an H scene lmao

--Eliminated unattainable treasure on some maps. I thought they were funny red herrings, but it actually confuses the player and looks like a bug.

--Quest text during Alma's quest never showed "Complete". It does now.

--Player can actually stand on top of the Blacksmith's house in the Orc town. Fixed this.

--Softlock with Orcosaurus quest fixed.

--Pixel oddity on the Order of the Aether exploration map fixed

--If imbued with an element after getting knocked out by the abomination in Level 6, the imbue effect remains on scene fixed

--Hitting enter to pull up the pause menu while the Journal was on screen enabled the player to move again. This is fixed

--Fixed pesky issue with player duplication.

I heard that Steam sent a report that "there isn't a blanket policy for preventing games from using Early Access and that they're evaluating every game". But after what happened to you, I don't know if I can believe that.

Yeah, I read that as well.  From what I understand, Steam is very inconsistent with its policies and there is no reason to believe they will outright say what they will deny or what they wont.

Itch buyer here pondering when next to replay the whole thing just swinging by to show appreciation and support

Omg those unobtainable treasures were deliberate? I spent like an hour on one of those until I finally just assumed I'd get a new ability later. You can't do that to us completionists, lol.

After all the bull you and the rest of your team have had to endure I can't blame you man, thanks for releasing it even if it was later than expected. Looking forward to trying it out later when the repository is updated.
