Over the years, she has grown from a developer into a Senior Engineering Manager, while also building an impressive presence in the global tech community. What started with a simple idea - bringing people together - evolved into organizing tech meetups in Katowice, including Avenga on Tour and later NgKato. [EN] Our CEO, Clay Van Doren published an opinion piece in the Czech business media Newstream this week, challenging the framing that dominates boardroom conversations across the continent. The question is not how Europe catches up with the US or China. The question is where Europe builds a structural advantage that others cannot easily replicate - and that advantage already exists. It sits at the intersection of three things: → The EU AI Act as a forcing function toward auditable, explainable, compliant-by-design architectures - not a regulatory burden, but a market differentiator. → Deep industrial data in manufacturing, automotive, energy, and financial services that hyperscalers cannot access or replicate. → Engineering talent in CEE - not adjacent to the problem of regulated industrial AI, but inside it, running complex production systems every day. #AI independence is not about building a European ChatGPT. It is about sovereign control over where your data sits, who controls the infrastructure it runs on, and whether your organisation retains the capability to operate these systems when your vendor changes direction. If the answer to all three is "someone else, somewhere else" - that is not an AI strategy. That is an AI dependency. Over the next three years, organisations will make foundational decisions that shape their competitiveness for a decade. Pilots will not decide who wins. Execution will. Znamená vědět, kde leží vaše data, kdo kontroluje infrastrukturu a zda si udržíte schopnost tyto systémy řídit, až se váš dodavatel rozhodne změnit směr.   Pokud je odpověď na všechny tři otázky „někdo jiný, někde jinde" - to není AI strategie.
