Timely Arrival Arc

Arc:  Timely Arrival (name courtesy of the lovely forgottenlover)

 Summary:  Timely Arrival is a Doubles/Quest AU.  There is no HoS (as wonderful as that idea is), but I would like to keep all the characters interacting in the story.  If anyone was curious, it's an open Arc and I'm not-so-secretly hoping that bunnies will bite other people.  attack, bunnies!

Well, I've finally found you, brother.  It took me awhile, but I finally got here.  This…this isn't how I pictured our reunion.  I always pictured you smiling at me through tears, welcoming me home.  It shouldn't be this way; it wasn't meant to be this way.  You weren't meant to be like this, brother.  You weren't meant to be lying so still in a hospital bed with people trying to protect your life from you.

Heh, the nurses must have drugged you into a coma if you can't muster up any response to that word.  Or maybe you're just tired and trying to block out the world.  Oh, brother, please don't give up yet.  I still need you so much…
 
It's his fault, isn't it?  The imposter who wears my face and answers to my name, he didn't take care of you, did he?  He just left you alone.  Damn him!  If he were anything like me, this wouldn't have happened!  How could he just ignore the most important person in my life?  Shouldn't he share at least some of my feelings?  He completely failed at being me.  But everything is okay now, brother.  I'm here now and I'll take care of you.  You're not alone anymore.
 
I'm here with you.
