Terrible Companies aside, (they're all terrible if you dig deep enough) there are some things I would like to watch and I will go where the shows are. I have subscriptions to both. But the interface for HD, going into settings to find your watch list, showing episode names without the name of the series, not syncing across app/online, having other user profiles recently watched items showing on your profile but none of your own.
I could go on but I think that's enough. Looks like they're doing a promotion to try to gain users but people coming from streaming services with smoother interfaces are not going to be happy with what they find there. But they do have shows that Crunchyroll does not, so for now I will keep the subscription for both and hold out hope that they will continue to make updates.
