About Logan Kelly

Logan Kelly is a professional author, screenwriter, and proud cinemaphile. He studied screenwriting and film history while attending Valencia College, before moving to the New York Metro Area.

Logan's first publication came with his book, Brighter Stars. The LGBTQ+ Historical-Romance garnered praise, and kicked off his professional writing career. His second novel, The Prince and the Scribe, was released by the Wild Rose Press in February of 2025. Logan began working for Collider in the Fall of 2023, and has had his articles featured by various industry professionals, including Abbott Elementary's Janelle James. Industry Experience

Logan has been writing professionally for two years. Within the entertainment field, he has worked as a screenwriter and production assistant. His focus and passion has always been film. Writing about industry history, behind the scenes stories and the details that make a film a classic are a special love of his, and he is overjoyed to share them with readers.

Favorite Media

While Logan has a deep passion for storytelling that encompasses all medias from movies to TV to theater, film has always been his first love. Raised on a diet of Disney and Hollywood classics, Logan cites Jaws as the movie that made him truly realize the power of a picture. He has a special love for anything black-and-white, and Italian movies. His go to answer when anyone asks him about his favorite movie will always be "There are too many to choose from," but he has a special place in his heart for Call Me by Your NameWhatever Happened to Baby Jane?, The Conjuring, and, of course, Jaws.
