The Editorial Board produces editorials that respond to important issues and news events. It does not speak for the newsroom, the Executive Board, or the Maroon as a whole.

The Editorial Board is to be run by a member of the Executive Board, and each member of the Board has equal voting power. The Editorial Board is composed of no more than ten voting-eligible members of the Maroon. No more than three members of the Editorial Board may dissent from a published editorial. If more than three members dissent, the editorial may not be published. Dissenters are entitled but not required to explain the reason(s) for their dissent at the end of the editorial.
