Chick Publications is the home site for chick tracts, everyone's favorite intrusive, crazy Christian conversion comics! I spent an entire evening reading through these and felt only mildly tummy-ill afterwards! Sadly, I have had some of these handed to me in the street. Ha ha, ha ha.

I know that despite my long pretty hair and fondness of skirts and jewelry and things, that at my core, I am kind of an ineffective girl. Or haven't been correctly "socialized" as one or something. I mean, when I don't have the patience to make it through one issue of Sandman, but can spend an entire weekend plowing through something as shamelessly foul and macho as Preacher... I swear, somewhere inside of me there is a druken, smelly, muddy-boot wearing, shotgun holstering cowboy just waiting to fight it's way free. :P
BUT MY POINT IS, Preacher is an incredible series and totally distracting me from my schoolwork (so let's be thankful that it is also a finite series) and is maybe one of the most beautiful stories I've read in ages and, uh, okay Garth Ennis. I have not been very fond of your work in general thus far, but now that I've read your magnum opus and seen that it wasreally fucking good, I'll give you a bit of a pass from now on. Seriously, okay?
