I really, definitely hate online IQ tests.
I got a Last.fm account. Just so I could have one of those nifty things in my userinfo that shows what's playing on my winamp. Shallow, yes, but remember: I'm a paid lj user. :P
I read Flowers for Algernon today. And I don't mean I finished it today, I mean that I read the *entire* thing today. If I had not finished it on the bus, I think I probably would have had a good sob session afterwards. Instead, I just got a little teary eyed, gulped it back and was all: "Er, did I miss my stop?" It's been a long time since a book has made me feel that way.
IN SOME VERY GOOD NEWS: I applied to write articles for Sequential Tart recently and, yaay, was accepted! I mean, not that I'm getting paid or anything, but if I can produce an article in time for next month's issue it'll be my first published writing job! :D
