Cookie... D'oh!
Who: Lucy and Annistyn.
What: No use crying over spilled cookies.
Where: The Vocal Adrenaline auditorium.
Rating: G
Last night, Lucy had been up waiting for her cookies to bake. She had failed a few times, as the cookies were much too bitter for anyone to eat. Of course! She wasn't going to let them go to waste - she would donate them to the soup kitchen to use as desert for the ones in poverty. She would also keep some of the duds for herself, anything as long as they didn't go to waste! She could always eat them with ice cream anyway - that always tasted yummy in her tummy. The reason why she had failed so many times was because she was trying to find the right recipe for cookies that were only twenty calories each! She realized that if she was to find the perfect recipe - she would have to substitute flour with beans! And by golly - it worked and they tasted delicious!
Now, she had them on a pink platter, ready to present them to her fellow Vocal Adrenaline team members. She knew they all didn't like eating too many sweets - she didn't like doing that either! But these were very healthy! She was sure that they would appreciate them because they were low in fat AND tasted delicious. She pushed opened the door- there wasn't very many kids in yet. Even so, she put the platter to balance on top of her flattened left hand, and used her right to wave frantically.
"Morning everyone!" She chirped, striding down over to the stands to set her plate down and wait for the kids to (hopefully) try some out. It always made her sad when nobody felt like trying her baked goods. She blinked a few times as some of her blond hair had strayed over to her face, and was blocking her vision.
Suddenly, she had hit a squishy wall. And then suddenly she heard the clatter of her plate on the ground... and the soft thumping of the perfectly circled sixty cookies hitting the ground. Then, she heard her own bottom hitting the floor. She looked up worriedly - she had bumped into someone.
"I'm so sorry!" She whimpered, "Oh dear... oh my goodness. I should have watched where I was going, really!"
ooc/ And, by the way. if anyone thinks I'm crazy- I'll happily supply the "bean cookie recipe"! Haha! ;)
