Our hike yesterday to Long Lake high up in the John Muir Wilderness really wore us out. What we didn't leave on that trail we used up wheeling at the House of the Devil. When we got back to Mammoth Lakes yesterday we headed straight to dinner at a local pizza restaurant. After eating our fill we drove back to the hotel... where we've barely left our room for 14 hours.
Well, Hawk hasn't left the room for 14 hours. I went downstairs yesterday evening to use the hot tub. Oh, it felt good to soak in the warm water. Plus, I have a #PoolLife streak to uphold. No way was I going to miss a day of going in the water when I was at a hotel with a pool and two hot tubs!
