Yango turned to stare at Nakiami, his face wrinkled in concentration but Nakiami's features remained as impassive as ever. Her eyes scanned the tree-lined path for something, though Yango wasn't sure what she expected to find.
Tugging at her hand, Yango waited until he had Nakiami's full attention. Puffing out his chest and crossing his arm against his chest he stared her straight in the eye. "Don't worry Nakiami, I'll protect you."
There was a quirk of the lips accompanied by something that sounded suspiciously like muffled laughter. Yango grinned at the sight, happy to finally see Nakiami smiling again. She really was far too serious for her own good.
