Title: Bonds

Nakiami was not quite sure of what to think of Yango. He talked until he ran out of breath, not even caring that she only responded when necessary and was so unerringly optimistic despite everything. His boundless energy didn't both her much - it was no different than Hinokimaru or Kobako - but Nakiami wondered if Yango could even sense his own limitations.
Settling him more comfortably against her back, Nakiami wondered why she had allowed him to join her in the first place. He didn't listen to her advice and he was only serving to slow her down in the long run. Though she couldn't seem to say no when she caught sight of those determined eyes.
A small hand sleepily gripped her clothing and Nakiami stilled. Yango only settled his arms around her neck, holding her close and Nakiami continued on her way. His breath puffed against her neck and Nakiami sighed. Though he was troublesome, Nakiami was forced to admit that Yango eased the loneliness in her heart.
