Inter-Asia at Yale
The Yale InterAsia Initiative is housed within the Global Programs at the MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies. We focus on the professional development of students and researchers, who are interested in a paradigm that moves beyond the traditional boundaries of area studies and examines how regions in Asia and beyond are connected.
With generous support from the Carnegie Corporation of New York, the Hong Kong Foundation for the Humanities and Social Sciences, the MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies, and the three Asian area councils at Yale, we are continuing to foster new and creative ways to carry out interdisciplinary research and teaching. We have built a global network through collaborations with leading institutions across the continents.
