Buy back ?

So, I have these really expensive books that I used for MU 471 this semester that i know i'll never need and i'd like to sell them back to B&N. My question is that the class only meets spring semester, so they wouldn't need the texts again until spring '06. Has anybody ever been able to sell back books for a class that they knew only met spring semester? Thanks in advance!
