Tales of online dating and stupid boys

*sigh* I have a really hard time with the whole online dating thing. Maybe I'm being too picky, but I can't strike up a conversation with a man who can't be bothered to spell correctly or string together a decent sentence. Maybe it's because I'm a teachers daughter, but some of these correspondences make me want to take a red pen to them and send them back marked "Better luck next time". I don't expect verbal or written perfection but honestly, if he can't spell the word goals in this day and age WITH spell check then he is either lazy or dumb and either way his "goles" are probably not going to line up with mine. Obviously I don't judge anyone whose first language isn't English, though. It's hard to learn a second language and impressive as heck to me when people do it. I don't care if they can spell or not ^_^
