This is a list of more or less famous musicians who have made appearances in movies. Here is just a random (or in some cases the only) movie they've been in, as a representation for their entire movie career. I do appreciate suggestions, but I have some criteria for this too:

- The artist shouldn't be playing her/himself in the movie (sometimes debatable)
- The role in the movie can be as an extra or cameo, but preferably a bit more than just a blink-and-you'll-miss-it face in the background for a second
- Voice-acting roles or musicals doesn't count

There's a lot of these movies I've never seen and artists I'm not so familiar with - so apart from suggesting artists, feel free to point out if I've made any mistake!
