11/1 Postscript: I started on September 1st because last year I never got close to finishing, but this year I wound up 40 movies deep over the two months.
My biggest revelations were Knife + Heart and Re-Animator, though Alligator, Demon Knight, Tales from the Hood, and the original Candyman were also better than expected. Possession, Possessor, and Sisters all lived up to expectations. My biggest disappointments were Highway to Hell, Prisoners of the Ghostland, V/H/S/85, and (very sorry to say) Bride of Frankenstein.
I ended up watching five anthologies (Night Train to Terror, Tales from the Crypt, V/H/S/85, Three... Extremes, and Tales from the Hood) plus a pseudo-anthology in Trick 'r Treat. I think that's a thing I'll continue…
