It's that time of year again: Hooptober for a cause. This year I will be again donating $20 for each film I complete to the San Francisco SPCA. If you'd like to also give go to sfspca.org/give
Last year I managed to raise over $2000 during Hooptober 8 for Afghanaid and the West Fund and this year is no different.
I adopted my pug Buster from the San Francisco SPCA back in 2010 at the spry age of six after he had been picked up at, presumably, a puppy mill somewhere in the area after having been left in a cage outside alone for a week without any food or water. Those bastards.
I will never forget the first time…

I will never forget the first time he saw me. He was so excited he immediately pissed fucking everywhere. He hadn't even been at the SPCA long enough for them to put him into their adoption system. Right place, right time I guess. He's 18 now, at least I think so, they have no records before he was picked up so he could be older or younger, who knows. He's a good dog.
His health has been getting progressively worse over the past few months so as his time on this earth is quickly winding down I'd like to give thanks this Halloween to the SF SPCA as if it weren't for them saving his life he wouldn't be in mine.
This year I will be donating $20 for each film I complete in this years Hooptober to them. If you'd like to also give go to sfspca.org/give
