Hooptober number nine!!! Wow, hard to believe it's been that long! I've had successful years (where I actually watched and reviewed all 33 films) and disappointing years (where work/life interfered and cut me well short of completion), but every Hooptober is still a magical memory.
The combination of setting goals, finding new movies, engaging in a community of fellow horror fanatics, and sharing and reading reviews really is quite special. It's something I look forward to every year, and a legitimate tradition in which an ever growing number of movie maniacs participate.
So, to my fellow Letterboxd-ers similarly obsessed with all things spooky, I wish yet another wonderful season of bloody corpses, scary ghosts, and zombie runs... Happy Hoopin,' everyone!…
