It's time for the best movie-watching challenge of the year! Hooptober is back around for its ninth run, and I'm in for my eighth go-around. I'm not kidding; I truly love this film-watching challenge that is organized and founded by the one and only Cinemonster, and I'm excited to be back on this once again!

As with every year, I've added an additional rule beyond the below listed ones, making sure to make my horror selections from films I've never seen or that it's been so long my memory of them is very hazy.
