Happy Hooptober to all!
This year is extra special for me, because not only does Hooptober kickoff on September 15th, but I will officially start my *drum roll please* SALARIED POSITION IN THE ARTS !! 

It has been a long journey, but the time has come for me to teach college kids the joys of watching and making film. One of my good friends sent me a meme that was a screenshot of a rate my professor review that said, “She is passionate about film. However, she is evil.” And asked if that was going to be my vibe as a professor (it absolutely is). 

Will I survive teaching college kids? Will I finally be able to finish a Hooptober list now that I have a stable and not shitty job? Will I cry during Fire Walk with Me? Will I catch the big fish for David Lynch? Will I find a new 80s horror soundtrack to fixate on? Will I be able to make it through a single film without my chihuahua neurotically licking me?
