53/100
I originally wasn’t going to watch the two “Masters of Horror” episodes that John Carpenter directed simply because they are technically television episodes, but man when I saw that this was not well received I figured I’d have to check it out. Man oh man does this go from a weirdly self-contained, fairly normal “home invasion” type film to a genuine terror fest in the last act which was a crazy turn of events. I won’t lie that I saw no way of what was going to happen and it got gross and gnarly and I kind found it a little good. It doesn’t do as much for the political and social debate its title may suggest, but I still found Pro-Life interesting enough to be mediocre!
