A delightfully ghoulish anthology that starts out more grounded with a home invasion/slasher story and then gets increasingly more insane and gothic. The second story features Boris Karloff in creepy vampiric makeup, picking off family members.

The third story is a surrealist nightmare about a nurse who steals a ring from the corpse of a psychic medium, and is then haunted by her possibly reanimated corpse. It's masterfully done with some genuinely creepy imagery. And then the movie ends with a little behind-the-scenes action and Karloff bidding you adieu.
