Now THIS is the way to do it!
No trucking around... they just get right to it.
Then pull back and slow burn it and then unpeel that onion.
Master class in pace and plotting.
This reminds me so much of a brilliant South Korean film called "Memories of Murder" - which, if you haven't seen it, get on it!!!! Same kind of feeling although this one seems a lot more creepy and dangerous.
I do wish this one had a bit more clarity at times... but then again... I didn't want that either. I fight with myself on the subject of "ambiguity" in films. And not being spoonfed is nice and I dig it and yet... I want more sometimes.
I'm gonna end up fighting myself in a parking lot just like ol' Edward Norton.
This movie is fantastic though.
Check it out.
