Okay, so this movie has a SHITTY TITLE and the poster sucks because you CAN'T READ THE WORD "ROCKTAPUSSY!" at the bottom which should be the HUGE SELLING POINT for getting eyes on this film.

But....

This movie ROCKS!!!

It's so good.
Damn, I didn't expect that.
It's really, really good.

Writer/Director Andrew Cymek has directed 20 or so movies and it's hilarious when you check out his filmography because it's two sides of a coin.

He's either directing blood and guts horror for adults... or he's directing Lifetime Romance movies about Christmas and Marriage and cheesy stuff like that. It's so POLAR OPPOSITES that I laughed my catheter out. Oh wait... you didn't hear that. Moving on....

There's ancient evil afoot in the underground! An Elder God -type Octopus has buried itself deep in the ROCKS under a local town. When it awakens and people start to getting attacked, a local reporter (who opens the movie by going undercover as a STRIPPER to catch the mayor who is up to no good.... well... neither is the reporter, but that's a fine point...) and her team go underground to get the story. A competing reporting crew also goes underground.

Hell, a BUNCH of people go underground.
I suppose everyone in this town has a bit of death wish.

There's just enough cheese and gore and actually a good storyline to entertain THOROUGHLY!

And - towards the end - the genre ALMOST shifts into old school XENA WARRIOR PRINCESS as it gets all medieval and sexy-time under that ground! Some kick-assery going on for sure!!!

Man, I just really dug this movie.

Such a fun time for such an odd premise.
Well worth checking out!!!
