Pleased to undertake my first Hooptober. As always, I may fail on this list (especially since my prime movie watching for the past year has been when nursing my son and we're starting to get into weaning periods). But then again, my husband likes Halloween horror movie watching, so maybe this can be something I do with him.

I ran out of categories, so I filled in the rest with movies unwatched from Scavenger Hunts. I may replace them if I see another random horror movie instead (but I'll keep Annihilation because you all seem so happy I'm going to watch it).

UPDATE 9/13/2019: Swapped out The Hitch-Hiker for The Lure -- the latter seemed like more of a horror film than the former.

UPDATE 9/17/2019: Removed Split because it was originally listed as being released in 2016 when it was a 2017 film. Replaced with From Dusk till Dawn.

UPDATE 10/16/2019: Added in the 1956 Invasion of the Body Snatchers because it was easily accessible and accounted for two categories. Removed Anti-Christ in exchange -- I'm not really in the mood right now.

UPDATE 11/3/2019: Officially finished Hooptober on 10/31 with 16 films and 9 challenges complete. Hope to complete all categories eventually.
