The Plot - in a nutshell
The game starts with a masquerade ball held in tandem by Giles and the slayers (begrudgingly) to celebrate all that they’ve accomplished over the past two years. The Halloween party will be the center of things, the beginning if you will.
There will be a ritual performed, bringing an old spirit to life. Using the blood of a slayer a former slayer will be raised from her resting place; the mouth of hell. Energies will be expelled, powers will be raised and there will be a drain on the active slayers in the world. Blood is life. Buffy Summers and Faith Lehane will remain unaffected, all other activated slayers will feel a definite difference in power. They will not be inactivated, just drained, their strength and power will diminish, but not be decimated. Faith, at the top of the current slayer line holds the key to said line. Buffy is no longer connected to the slayer line.
The Guardian will take form, her own form, which happens to be the same form of Buffy Summers. Though technically, Buffy holds her form and face, not the other way around. The power that raised the guardian wishes to control her, to gain its own power back, unfortunately for that power the guardian doesn’t take lightly to being controlled.
Brighid will launch a fine little plan of her own, or perhaps she’s had the plan all along – you’ll never know. She decides to bring back someone who will put a kink in the plans of the powers that raised her. However, the power she uses to achieve this gets out of control and brings back everyone. Everyone connected to the people inside Lindenbrook.
Poof, we have champions, bad guys, good guys and forgotten guys all roaming around wondering what the hell just happened. But hey they’re alive, so that is a definite plus. However, no one knows how they are alive, so there will be a mad dash and scramble to figure out what’s going one.
Our resident bad guys, besides the guardian herself, will be a group of lycans and werewolves. Who knows what their plans really are.
