Thinking About the Future (Final-Draft-Style Now)

I wonder what the fossil record will look like in several million years: a giant carbon stain from the man-made carbon situation, and then nothing? Thinking about this makes me sad. Am I being alarmist? How adaptable is wildlife to humanity, really?

Anyone else ever think about this sort of thing?
