Noigel is the official costumed mascot for the Birmingham Legion FC soccer team.

The rotund, fuzzy character with a red head and black sneakers was envisioned as representing Vulcan's childhood imaginary friend. Its name is "Legion" spelled backwards.

Noigel was introduced at the team's March 7, 2026 home opener at Protective Stadium. In addition to appearances at home matches, Noigel is the centerpiece of the team's "Learning With Legion" educational outreach program to schools.
