Beatrice Collins
Beatrice Collins (born c. 1983) is a former Birmingham City Council staffer. civic volunteer, and a candidate for City Council District 9 in the 2025 Birmingham municipal election.
Collins was valedictorian of the Lawson State Community College class of 2015, earning an associate's degree in business administration and management. She participated in the Miss Lawson State competition and was a member of several honor societies. While in college she worked as an intern in Jay Roberson's council office, and was hired as an administrative assistant while working toward her bachelor's in business management at UAB, which she received in 2018. She was on Valerie Abbott's staff from 2018 to 2020 and chief of staff for LaTonya Tate from 2022 to 2024.
As a candidate for City Council, Collins has promised to lobby for more community centers with a broader range of services and for more grocery stores.
