Gwen Downing-Groth Crushing album. Went into playing this with no expectations and was floored. Perfectly pounding rhythm section, wailing guitar and deranged vocals to top it off. Instant fan. Favorite track: Raven's Nest.

rvbbxt the momentum from each relese to the next carries so much energetic and poetic weight. Hymn is the newest PR release so for me its the best Favorite track: Lily Of The Valley.
    Cobra Mort thumbnail
Cobra Mort All your albums have their charm and everything is just so damn good. The most important thing is that when you play live we have the impression we’re listening to the studio recording. It’s rare for a band to deliver what the audience consider the source material and you nailed it like criminals on the gallows. You are like artisans carving gargoyles or bakers making hardtack. True mastery of your craft. None other tells it like it is in these modern medieval times.
    innerspaces thumbnail
innerspaces Very cool record. Been following Poison Ruin since the beginning and this is their best yet IMHO. The lean into the synths department is bordering on space rock territory (think Hawkwinds early 80s era) and I'm all about it. Favorite tracks are the whole damn record!

    kiitzuna thumbnail
kiitzuna the impact this album has had on me is hard to describe, an incredible experience from start to finish with touches of indie rock and electronic and more with crystal clear modern production. I.W.W.I.T.I.W. is easily one of my favourite songs of all time, the wistful tone and full atmosphere carrying the track and putting you in a completely new headspace- its special..... i hope the album goes back up on streaming soon Favorite track: I.W.W.I.T.I.W..

47 An impressive musical range and an interesting and idiosyncratic step in cloud pop. Favorite track: Moona Festival.

    Johann Theo thumbnail
Johann Theo The noisy, technical, frantic metalcore I'm into these days. None of these impressive songs overstays their welcome. Favorite track: I Wouldn't Go Out, There's Some Ruffians About.
    Kenny McGalem thumbnail
Kenny McGalem SRTL is a groove machine! Having a strong hardcore influence, there are plenty a breakdown, but the goal is not brutality as much as rhythm and dynamics. Blake Prince, displays impressive range, emitting real sense of urgency and rawness in his screaming, all with a prominent southern edge. The songs are brief, making this easy to listen to. The clean, delay-heavy guitar lines are astonishingly delightful and tastefully intricate. In many ways, the Author is beautiful. Favorite track: The Orchid Killer.
