Ippocalyptica Rogue Trader had no business going as hard as it did and becoming one of the best modern turn-based RPGs, and part of its excellence is the epic soundtrack that is both artistically impressive on its own merits and captures the grimdark essence of Warhammer 40,000 absolutely perfectly. And any band or composer from any genre can learn a thing or two from the ominous and amazing organs throughout the album. For the Emperor, indeed!

North East Wizard Tyrant (NEWT) A triumphant masterpiece of an album, a remarkable achievement that feels fresh and unique despite the band approaching their 30th year in existence. Both stands as a brilliant continuation of their career for long-time listeners, as well as a great entry-point for listeners new to Vintersorg. Favorite track: Skyrök.

H.L. After Vintersorg's departure from Borknagar, I was looking forward to a new Vintersorg album. "Till Fjälls" and "Ödemarkens Son" are among my personal anthems of the 90s. "Vattenkrafternas Spel" is also unmistakably Vintersorg, thanks to his distinctive clean vocals, while the rough vocals seem like a complementary element. The progressive songwriting is multifaceted, at times sounding orchestral and incorporating some folk influences. I just miss more catchy, touching songs, like "Störtsjö". Favorite track: Störtsjö.

bmurator Swedish Atmospheric / Melodic Black Metal. The one available track is outstanding! That, together with their previous album "Tundra" made this an instabuy... :) It is quite far away & I can't wait! I think metal sister Atti 🖤 needs more than just one song from this album but... ") Who am I to say? Highly recommended!!!

Roland Tundra was one of my favorite records of 2023, so this pre-order was a no-brainer. First single gives me goosebumps already.

UPDATE: Expectations met, if not surpassed. Jord once again manage to craft an album that's brimming with atmosphere, providing space for both beauty and aggression. You get the calm and you get the storm. AOTY contender! Favorite track: Den Brandgula Salen.
