pigster Chris always delivers. Favorite track: The Face of the Deep.
    kazlovesmusic_ thumbnail
kazlovesmusic_ I spent more money on the OSTs for this game than the game itself (I only bought the base game yesterday). Genuinely wonderful stuff here by Chris, especially They Might As Well Be Dead. Such a wonderful buildup to such an explosive climax. Love it Favorite track: They Might As Well Be Dead.

getsugaxtenshou The bass on this album is so killer! The lead guitar parts make me feel like I'm among the stars. Shout out to Jacob Umansky for teaching me the bassline of Black Box at the Victor Wooten Bass Workshop at Berklee in the summer of 2022! Favorite track: Fable.
    Erkadur thumbnail
Erkadur This is one of my favorite albums by Intervals. Every track is full of great energy, is unique (in terms of composition), and flows very well together. Great stuff! <3

To me, this is the first release by Aaron that really captures the melodic and euphoric energy future releases would be based on. If you dig guitar-centric progressive rock/fusion, this is a no-brainer! :D

Stellar production and imaging as well, which is very appreciated :)

For fans of Sithu Aye, Plini, I Built The Sky, etc. Favorite track: Meridian.
    dev. thumbnail
dev. Really high-quality djent metal that had me bobbing my head throughout my entire listen. Favorite track: Slight of Hand.

    patrick riolo thumbnail
patrick riolo looking forward to the next release(s). Although previous work is excellent, this design, arrangements, and overall mix/mastering are phenomenal. One of my favorite things about instrumental music is the fact it speaks differently to each person. Sure, there's standout tracks for the average listener, but reviewing comments to find a ton of variety in their "favorite track" it speaks to Aaron's vision for progressive melodic metal that's easy to listen to, while still demanding your attention.
    vainglory thumbnail
vainglory This album has really grown on me.
While the sound is super tight, and technical, it's not obnoxiously so.
Most importantly, I love the way the riff on "String theory" calls back to the riff on "Leave No Stone" Favorite track: String Theory (featuring Marco Sfogli).

Erkadur The EP that started it all for Intervals. This is more djent-oriented than future releases (after A Voice Within).

The Space Between is still full of very uplifting/euphoric melodies Aaron would become known for in future releases. Great stuff! :D

For fans of Shades of Black, For Giants, Interiors, I Built The Sky, Modern Day Babylon, early StarSystems, Baije, and Grapefruit Astronauts. Favorite track: Still Winning.

  5. The Convoy of Ruin
    by Edge of Haze
    featured track 00:00/00:00
Parts of Anything Parts of Anything
    supported by
    Lloyd James thumbnail
Lloyd James This album is fantastic! It embodies just about everything I love out of modern prog metal. Chunky riffing hooky melodies, excellent mixed vocals and variety in songwriting (play 'Instead of Gravity' and 'Endgame' back-to-back) all wrapped up in a bold, modern production.

'Floods' probably just edges out as my favourite track, but 'The Other Side', 'Parts of Anything', 'Heathen' and 'Birth' all make a compelling case for themselves too. Favorite track: Floods.
    themanimale thumbnail
themanimale The Convoy of Ruin has a lot of fresh and new energy, with a mix of powerful and delicate notes. Following the example of the previous releases, it echoes with the unique Edge of Haze's sound and adds more maturity to their already wonderful way of creating music. Favorite track: Parts of Anything.
    Jay Reffner thumbnail
Jay Reffner They nailed this album! Favorite track: Birth.
